So Im a sophomore in college and I really havent dated since my senior year of high school so the dating scene in college is relatively new to me.
My friend invited me to go see a football game at the college he goes to this fall which is about 2 hours away. His girlfriend and her friend usually hang out together and she is so hot and shes single too.

You know how were all poor college kids, yet we have so many that continue to rack up our credit card bills?  One of the best ways to start saving money is to simply re-evaluate your budget.  I know people who use budgeting software and balance their checkbooks religiously, but I am not one of those people.
First of all, its nearly impossible for me to predict how much income Ill rake in in a given week.  Second, theres no way I can simply skip my monthly Metrocard (or other necessity) because I miscalculated.  So I charge it.  And then I charge five energy drinks because the grocer only accepts credit for purchases of $10 or more.  But the reality is, if I quit energy drinks (over $2 a pop), I would save hundreds of dollars a year.  What are you wasting your money on?

You are given your own bed, your own closet, and your own study area for a reason. Sleep on your own bed, trash your own closet, and make a mess in your own study area. Never wear your dorm mates shirt just because it matches the color of your eyes or eat their sandwich just because it completes the balance of your diet. Why take the risk of being scolded later when you can always ask for their permission first?
Respect your dorm mates personal feelings.
For some reason, students from opposite ends always end up being dormmates. Opposites always attract, but it wasnt indicated that it is always in a good way. To avoid getting into silly fights or ego battles, respect your dorm mates beliefs and philosophies. If your dorm mates are devout Catholics, then please be sensitive enough to avoid making jokes about Jesus Christ or the Pope. The last thing you want is to avoid your dormmates. Respect your dorm mates feelings and you will surely get back the same respect that you deserve.

A: Applying to college is kinda like dating. First, you get to figure out which schools are interesting to you and then the colleges decide whether or not they want to take it to the next level based on the first impressions they get from your application. And the way to the admissions office is with a stellar academic reputation and a killer personality.
The foundation of any great college application is a solid academic performance, so focus on getting good grades and taking challenging courses throughout all four years of high school. However, just acing your classes isnt quite enough to turn the head of a college admission officer. Sure, grades and test scores are important, but colleges are really interested in the personalities and passion behind the numbers.
Colleges want to know the types of things that interest you and how you might make an impact on their campus. Its important to show a college that you care about something, so the key is to demonstrate your passions and personality through the activities, leadership positions, and extracurricular pursuits that take up your time outside the classroom.
But be wary about cramming your app with what may appear to be surface level interests. Its much more impressive to spend three-four years committed to a few teams, activities, or organizations than to have tons of short-term involvements or to invent a new club of which you can conveniently became president fall semester of your senior year.
When it comes time to fill out your apps, remember to be yourself. If youve worked hard in the classroom and committed yourself to a few passions, you should be confident about articulating just what an amazing person you are to the admissions office! And P.S. dont forget to proofread.

Explore Occupations
If you already know of a few occupations that youre interested in, start researching them either in your local library or online.  No matter what industry youre interested in, you can always find great information online.  A great tip you can use is simply by looking for a forum where you can ask questions about a particular career.  For example, if you want to become a nurse and dont know exactly what the job entails, you could search for nursing forums and find hundreds of people that already work in that job field.
Assess Yourself
A self assessment is the process in which you will gather more information about yourself.  A lot of career tests online will want to know a little bit more about your personality.  This helps them further understand you better and makes it easier for the career planning process.  For example, if youre a sheltered shy person, you wont to go into sales or do public speaking.
Set some goals
Career planning shouldnt take you forever, instead it should be done in a reason time frame.  If youre already attending high school, then youre already on the right path to choosing the right career.  If youre in your second year of college and you have no idea on what you want to do, then you may be in some trouble.  Set up some goals for yourself to figure out when you want to choose that career.
Career planning is extremely important.  Dont just jump into a career because of money.  Youll find out in your adult life that a fun job is a lot more exciting that a fat paycheck.  Trust me, you dont want to drag through an eight hour workday just to feed the family.  Instead, find something youll truly enjoy so when you get out of college, you wont regret your decision.
