They both have a loud mouth, no manners or respect, no-care attitude, arrogant, and with an average song writing ability at best. But somehow they manage to get their five minutes on all the online celeb gossip sites, everytime they got drunk.
Heres Lily accessorised the wedding-style dress with a cropped black blazer, black nails and a cigarette on a night out at one of her usual drinking haunts - the Groucho Club in London last night.

So Adams homecoming  was a bit smaller than the other two contestants since hes from a bigger town, and celebrities are pretty common place in San Diego.  On Friday he made an appearance at his old high school where he performed Mad World and Black or White, accompanied by the marching band.  He also gave  a short but extremely inspiring speech about students embracing each others differences.  I love that he said that, especially with all the suicides occurring with young people because they dont fit in.
Oh, and some teenage girl took off her shirt and ran up on stage.  *sigh* Where are kids parents these days?.

Hilton highlighted the e-mail as “E-mail of the day” on his blog, and the hate began piling up on Manera.
Manera, who describes himself as a Conservative, now says he wished he lost the word “fag.” But he stands by his message.
“That despicable character (Hilton) came just short of using (an obscene word) to describe that fine young women (Prejean),” father-of-five Manera told Page2Live. “I was reacting to his making fun of the pageant contestant who dared speak about her beliefs.
“I suppose one of the words I used is politically incorrect, and now I know that it’s like the N-word for black people.”
Still, says Manera, he never thought his e-mail would cause such violent reaction.
“I’ve been bombarded by the gay mafia that Perez leads,” Manera said. “He’s a smear merchant. There were even people calling professional associations to have me kicked out. My goal in writing was to slap that little punk down for hurting that little girl. I’m not anti-gay.”
“I e-mailed my note to Perez Hilton personally, not to his blog, and he chose to put it out there for everyone.
Manera’s now looking for a lawyer to sue the oft-sued Hilton.
Hilton didn’t respond to my e-mail, a very professional one I promise, seeking comment.

Efron's comedy "17 Again," in which he plays the youthful version of a middle-aged man magically transformed to high school age, debuted as the top weekend movie with $24.1 million, according to studio estimates Sunday.

The guests at their celebration on Saturday, April 4th still numbered just 25, including Robert Kraft, owner of Brady's team, the New England Patriots. They witnessed the sunset ceremony under a white tent erected on the home's balcony, with Bunchen wearing a gown specially designed for the occasion by John Galliano and hand crafted in Paris. The dress was a white silk satin bias cut long gown with spaghetti straps and train, with scalloped seamed details around the hip with a six-foot-long white silk tulle veil with white lace sewn by hand. Holding a bouquet of white orchids, a guest told People, "She looked beautiful."

Brady wore a grey suit jacket and vest with white pants.

Earlier in the day, Bunchen prepped for the wedding at the nearby Hotel Flor Blanca and Brady hosted a bachelor's brunch with exclusive special menu at the luxurious Milarepa Hotel. The wedding followed three days of pre-event celebrations in Costa Rica leading up to the second set of nuptuals.

And they could have gone smoothly if not for the couple's intense desire to celebrate their wedding away from the glare of the media spotlight. Bodyguards for the couple opened fire on press gathered outside the supermodel's home, shooting through the rear windshield of a retreating SUV and narrowly missing two photographers inside.

One of those photographers, Yuri Cortez of Agence France Presse, told People, "I was returning from taking some photos of the wedding, and when I got to my car, right in front of the property, there was an American guard and he was trying to detain me. He wanted to take my camera, my [memory] card, for me to show him the photos I had taken. And I told him no. And they told me to get out. I started walking, and the [one of them] grabbed my arm and pulled it behind my back. He grabbed my backpack too. And he told me that I couldn't leave. I told him if he was the police, he could detain me, but if he wasn't any type of authority he couldn't do it."

Cortez' lensman friend Carlos Aviles then suggested they leave the scene. As they drove off, says Cortez, "My friend said he heard them say, 'Stop, or I'll shoot your tires!' But when I heard the shot, I thought my friend had been shot. I heard the impact [on the back windshield], and when I looked into the mirror and saw that the guy had a pistol, I said, 'Watch out, the guy has a gun!' Then immediately we heard the impact [of the bullet]. We just hit the gas and sped off ducking down as low as we could in our seats."

Police in Costa Rica have said they are now investigating the incident.

I have seen some recent hits about the wonderland schools on my blog so its time for me to refresh what I have said in the past.
Having watched the movie Hes Just NOt that into you, the same can be applied to Wonderland schools.  They have no interest in you as a person, most hagwons dont as they are a business and just in it to make money.  So if you do, against my advice, take a position at wonderland, do not complain that you are treated like a slave.  That is what they will do to you. 
In the movie, the lead female talks about how there are exceptions to the rule that if a guy doesnt call, he isnt into you.  But the bartender she is getting advice from keeps telling her she is the rule not the exception.  i thought i was the exception to Wonderland but I am not.  SO do NOT think that you will be the exception or that the school will be.
All personal opinion aside, here is basic info you should know:
1.  vacations, including national holidays, are not paid.
2.  they will not give you the ten days vacation legally they are required to do if head office has not scheduled it.
3. where many hagwons consider 1 40 min class a teaching hour, Wonderland schools do not.  in the end you could be teaching 180 classes a month, while others only teach 120 and public school teachers only teach 88.
4.  you may make more money at a hagwon, but you will definitely work for it.  The parents, mostly the mothers, are heavily involved in their childrens education (which is admirable).  But its too the point of insanity. 
5.  You will be forced to give children that cannot read or speak english well at all false marks so that the hagwon can continue to receive the money they get from their enrollment.
6. watch your paycheques.  they regularly do not take out deductions to avoid contributing to the national pension and health care.  they are legally required to make the contributions.  even if you are i a country that doesnt get a pension payout at the end of yoru contract, you can hae the contributions moved to your national pension plan.
7. ask a lot of questions before you take any hagwon job.  make sure the contract includes sick days.  Mine did not and i had to work when i could barely stand up from the flu, 
8.  Do NOT expect a reference letter.  They do not give them out.  and do not do extra work after school for them.  it doesnt go appreciated and youre not getting paid for it.  So dont bother trying to please them this way.  This is another area i got burned.  I figured making a song and singing it at graduation, helping proofread speeches, explaining some of te problems the other foreigners had with the school to make it better, and being an enthusiastic teacher and making classes fun would go a long way in getting me a reference letter. i was wrong. 
Good luck with the job search.  There are so many better options out there for you.  My advice is if your recruiter deals with wonderland schools, get a new recruiter.  no decent recruiter works with wonderland.

President Obama is this morning locked in negotiations with congressional leaders to release federal funds so that Americans can buy tickets for the 2009 U2 concerts announced today.

With the country deep in recession and Bono looking more and more like Mrs Doubtfire every day, the President is keen to raise national morale by allowing people to enjoy the Irish quartets emotionally driven rock one more time before they end up crap like the Rolling Stones.

Tickets are expected to cost at least $100 and with jobs haemorrhaging from the economy, most credit cards withdrawn and the average American now living off an annual income equal to the cost of The Edges sunglasses, there is widespread concern that normal music fans wont be able to afford to go.

In a statement, White House Press Secretary David Gibbs explained the motivation behind the talks:

The president is a huge fan of the group and was honoured to have the American leg kicking off in his home city of Chicago. But he was keen to avoid the sight of Bono and co strutting their stuff to near empty stadia and therefore, this morning he has scheduled extraordinary meetings to prepare a new stimulus package for the tickets.

There are several options on the table, from a tax credit for every worker equal to the cost of a ticket, to allowing food stamps to be used at Ticketmaster outlets. The President is determined to reach a deal by the end of the day, and is hoping for front row seats for him, Michelle, Malia and Sasha.

The Stupid Times' Political Rock Editor Harold Watko explained that the money would have an impact far beyond the band and their fans.

Congressional leaders know that the money wont just go to one of the richest rock groups in the world. Theres also the hotdog sellers outside the stadium, the guy by the subway hawking fake merchandise, and the prostitutes servicing businessmen on corporate hospitality deals. This will help everyone to get a leg up as they try and ride the recession.

House and Senate Republicans are however vehemently opposed to the plans. According to insiders, House Minority leader John Boehner went into the talks with a set of pre-conditions he wanted agreed before discussions could even begin. These included a ban on condom sales at the venues, guaranteed support slots for abstinence freaks the Jonas Brothers, and tax breaks for rich rock fans.

David Beckhams days playing soccer in LA could be numbered, according to the LA Times.
Its seems that the owner of the AC Milan soccer team is doing everything in his power to keep the soccer stud from returning to the LA Galaxy next month.
Milan will do everything to have Beckham even after March. It is clear that its our wish to have him until the end of the season or on a permanent deal, the Milan team owner said.
Beckham has been on loan to the team, but is scheduled to return to LA next month for the start of the Galaxys season.
Becks apparently wants to stay in Italy as well, and is telling his lawyers to find a way out his contract with the Galaxy.
While soccer is obviously a much bigger deal in Europe, do you really think Posh would be willing to leave LA?!?

Put it down. Put. The hand. Down.

As "American Idol" has mutated gradually from ubiquitous annoyance to irresistible guilty pleasure to seriously compelling entertainment and, most recently, to vaudevillian self-parody so recklessly devoted to its own ratings that one's own addiction to it stems almost totally from the basest biological impulses of curiosity, it has maintained one consistent ingredient: the laughably eccentric contestant who continues to beep loudly on the popcultural radar long after disappearing from the show.

William Hung didn't even make the competition but is still one the show's most famous products. Sanjaya was the beneficiary of a pseudo-masochistic portion of the viewership who just had to find out how large a crater he could ultimately make in the landscape of legitimacy that "American Idol" in particular and pop music in general has striven so long to build up. Kevin Covais stayed around after he proved to be a one trick pony (and the trick itself amounted to little more than the ability to bake brownies for you grandma while being off-puttingly pre-pubescent) just long enough for you to be able to get all your friends around a TV to prove you weren't wrong about his striking resemblance to Disney's "Chicken Little" character.

Of these, Sanjaya was the first who stayed around way after the joke he would ultimately become ceased being funny.

But, not to be outdone, the 2008 season -equally littered with "oh my god, seriously?" contestants like the unimaginably grating and transparently bad self-concsious Janis Joplin impersonator Amanda Overmyer, the shockingly lifeless Kristy Lee Cook, and the awkwardly closeted and overly-scarf-wearing Michael Johns, as it was with truly compelling finds like the world's most appealling Mormon Brooke White, the bizarrely likable stoner and deliberate Simon-antagonist Jason Castro, and the most aw-shucks rocker who should have been the lead singer of a really good band (unfortunately, his favorite all-time band is Our Lady Peace...) but now will probably be the lead singer of a shitty band, like Our Lady Peace, which is a shame because he has a kickass voice, David Cook - made damn sure its Sanjaya/Kevin Covais of the year stayed on the show to its very last breath (and nearly won).

Archuleta is the reason people who don't watch "American Idol" hate "American Idol". He was the whole package: overly demanding and possibly abusive stagedad, Osmondy Mormonishness, a Josh Grobinesque technically jaw-dropping voice with a not a hint of authenticity or life experience to back it up; he sang great pop songs like he was a machine designed to sing great pop songs, machinishly.

Archuleta (and his operating lever or hand or whatever that was that wouldn't stop mechanically moving up and down beside him as he obeyed his programming or sang or whatever you wanted to call it) became a punchline to the sane and a source of adoration to the insane (American girls, roughly aged 14) by midseason, and we all held our breath each week to see if he'd finally be gone.

"Idol" turned out to be the winner, though, as, in order to see him leave, we ultimately (and illogically) had to stick with the show not just to the end, but to its literal last word, since both finalists were named David, we had to wait for America's most offensively inoffensive man, Ryan Seacrest, to say "Cook" rather than "Archuleta" to ensure our long, national nightmare had come to an end.

Luckily, Cook's terrible debut album way outsold Archuleta's terrible debut album, just in time for Robert Pattison to swoop in and erase him from tweeny memory once and for all (we hope).

The news of 16-year-old Jett Travoltas Jan. 2 death has made headlines not because of how he died but because he died. The story is newsworthy simply because his parentsactors John Travolta and Kelly Prestonare famous. According to the USA Todays online article Seizures are a for parents like Travolta, Jett had a history of seizures. Frequent seizures become a condition known as epilepsy, a neurological condition that causes the brain to produce sudden bursts of electrical energy, as stated on epilepsyadvocate.com. These bursts upset the balance of the brain, causing a seizure. Most people know vaguely what epilepsy is and that it involves seizures. The average person probably knows one or two people who have suffered a seizure or who may even have epilepsy. Because of the recent tragic celebrity death from epilepsy, however, things may change.

Im not saying every single person on the planet is going to be walking around quoting statistics on the disorder like an epilepsy fact robot. Im simply saying that anyone who has fairly regular access to technology may end up, intentionally or not, finding out a little more about the disease. Lets think for a minute. When Anna Nicole Smith died, that was all we heard about for weeks. Reflect also on Princess Diana, Heath Ledger, or the recent and awful murder of Jennifer Hudsons family. We cant escape celebrity news because lets face it: Most Americans know and care more about what is going on with celebrities than with actual news. BUT there seems to be a point where these two can merge and where drowning news stations with pictures, timelines, and interviews with celebrities can do more than cater to the needs of a gossip-hungry public.

A source close to the Travoltas tells PEOPLE that the autopsy on their 16-year-old son Jett revealed a seizure disorder as the cause of his death.
An autopsy was conducted by doctors on Monday, but no official results have been disclosed to the public.

Throughout the war, Hilliker drummed his comrades to victory, always keeping as far in front of the fighting line as possible. During the Vicksburg campaign, on June 4, 1863, at a skirmish near Mechanicsburg, Mississippi, every available man was needed, so Hilliker laid down his drum for a rifle and proceeded to the front of the Confederate line. As to what followed is told by Hilliker himself:
 
“During the skirmishing near Mechanicsburg, I was still company drummer, but I exchanged my drum for a gun, as I had done on former occasions, and went into the fight with my company. Fear in battle never seemed to unnerve me. I felt better at the front in the heat of the fight than I did at the rear.
 
“When the fight I mention was becoming interesting, I, with comrade John Horton, advanced about eight rods in front of our line to get a clear view of the Confederate line, and in this we were satisfied, for when we reached the top of a low hill, we were within six or eight rods of the Confederates. My comrade was near my side when we came within this range of the enemy, and we both raised our rifles together to fire. Horton’s gun rang out sharply, but mine snapped or missed fire, which placed me in an awkward position. Horton covered himself to the right behind a tree and I jumped into a surface sand pit to the left. While recapping my gun, something occurred hat seemed to me like a terrific explosion.
 
“It proved to be a Minie ball passing through my head. It entered at the base of the mastoid process, tore through my head, and passed out at the left nostril. The first words I heard after that unpleasant incident were: ‘Lay him in the shade over there – he won’t last long.’
 
“The surgeon left me on the field for dead, but I recovered consciousness and was taken to the hospital only to live a miserable existence since, being in constant pain from either dyspepsia, neuralgia of the right shoulder, or piles; dyspepsia caused from the total loss of use of jaws, for I have never opened them one-sixteenth of an inch since 1863. I have to take my food by sucking it into my mouth by the aid of forcing it with the fingers. Can not partake of any solid food at all; and soup, how I hate the thought of it.
 
“But I have lasted, though I have to carry around a bad looking face where good looks might have served me better.”
 
At the close of the war, Hilliker returned to Wisconsin, and later to Michigan where he met and married Lydia Lamb. They had three sons, E.P., Harley and William Hilliker. In the early 1880s, Hilliker moved his family to Los Angeles and became active in the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.).

Another former professional wrestler Mike Bell (pictured far left), who went by the name Mad Dog, was found dead Sunday at a Costa Mesa live-in rehabilitation facility. Bell was only 37 years-old, appeared in the documentary Bigger, Stronger, Faster. Although Bell was being treated for substance abuse, an autopsy was done, but Dan Akin, a supervising deputy at the Orange County coroner, said an immediate cause of death could not be determined, so they are awaiting toxicology test results.
Chris Bell, whose 2008 documentary examines the steroid use of his two brothers, said Mike Bell had long battled with his addictions to prescription painkillers and alcohol.
