Shia LaBeouf gave an interview for the June issue of Playboy magazine, to promote his upcoming movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
In the interview, the actor, 22, explains that his mother (pictured standing behind) used to wander around his childhood home naked, regardless of who was around.
“The nudity was weird, especially when her friends came over. ..All of them would just be naked around the house. That was strange for me, and it was really bizarre when my friends were there. You’ve got your little buds over, and Mom’s, like, playing naked connect the dots or whatever. The new Robin Hood film starring Russell Crowe, Nottingham, now has a sheriff. 
34-year-old British actor Matthew Macfadyen, best known as Fitzwilliam Darcy in the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice, has supossedly been cast in the role of the Sherrif of Nottingham. Macfadyen revealed that he had been cast in “Nottingham” (the previous title of the project) at a public Masterclass event on April 17th. The actor’s agent finally confirmed the role details with the Darcylicious fansite. Macfadyen most recently appeared as John Birt in Frost/Nixon. His credits also include Death at a Funeral, Incendiary and the BBC mini-series Little Dorrit.
Originally Crowe was supposed to play both roles in the movie, but thankfully director Ridley Scott decided against that idea.

During the event, the Recording Academy will present its Presidents Merit Award to Davis for his contributions to the music industry. Its the only alteration to a blueprint of merrymaking and song.
They were not interested in changing anything, so its still a very personal party, says Davis, Sony Musics chief creative officer. Though his labels and sponsors always bankrolled the event, it was never a company party. Heads of every record group lay down their armor to be there. We have every motion-picture studio, every TV network, all there to celebrate music.
Drawing luminaries and power brokers from all fields of entertainment, the Davis bash grew grander than talent agent Lazars legendary Oscar gatherings.
It has served as a platform for emerging acts from Alicia Keys to Leona Lewis, who made her U.S. debut at last years gala. Davis allows space on the bill for stars outside his stable, including Kanye West.
This year, hes wound up about his diva double-hitter.
Hudson is feeling as well as can be expected, Davis says. She is in a frame of mind to really get back to work.
Ditto for Houston, who just came out of the studio with R. Kelly, and after the Grammys shes going back in with David Foster. The songs are there.

The all-star gathering and media magnet really fits in our wheelhouse, says Recording Academy president Neil Portnow, who worked for Davis at Arista in the 80s.
With the party now attached to Grammys neutral terrain, will fellow honchos resent Davis authority over the marquee and guest list?
I made calls to the chairs of the other major labels and posed that question, Portnow says. To a person, everyone said, s great, Clive deserves it. Clive knows its not about any one labels artists. Hes been broad in selecting talent.
Selecting Davis as this years Merit recipient was a no-brainer, he adds. The award honors pillars of the music business, not only the creative side, but the business side, Portnow says. s about being visionary and ultimately bringing talent forward, believing in it, sticking with it and creating the most beloved musical artists of our time. That is Clives legacy. Hes 100% still at it.
And in no hurry to quit. Davis, 76, co-produced Kelly Clarksons upcoming album and is co-producing a new Leona Lewis album with Simon Cowell. Hes also working on discs by Rod Stewart and Carlos Santana and preparing to collaborate with Harry Connick Jr.
It would be easier to give it up if it werent so exciting and challenging, Davis says. And great report cards are very gratifying.

Two pop divas released their albums late last year. Polls found that Koreans were more interested in Britney’s comeback. Provided by Sony Music Entertainment Korea.
When pop divas Britney Spears and Beyonce released their latest albums in December and November respectively, Korean media and music critics focused on their similarities and how their alleged “rivalry” would fare in popularity votes, album sales and chart rankings.
Spears debuted in 1999; Beyonce debuted in Destiny’s Child a year earlier. Today they are among the biggest names on the U.S. pop scene with achievements in music, film and business.
Their record label, Sony Music Entertainment Korea, said recently that after the publicity campaigns for their albums, Britney Spears won the hearts of more Korean fans than Beyonce by a slight margin.
According to Bae Yu-na at Sony, page views and online polls indicated that Koreans were more supportive of, or curious about, Spears. The race was neck-and-neck as Sony discovered that Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” was played 133 times on Korean radio shows from November to December, while Spears’ “Womanizer” was played 108 times.
In terms of album sales, Spears’ “Circus” sold 12,000 copies in Korea while Beyonce’s “I Am Sasha Fierce” sold 8,000 copies here. This is not representative of their global performance, in which Circus sold 2.5 million while I Am Sasha Fierce sold 2.8 million.
Pop critic Kang Il-kwon said that the songs in Spears’ album would appeal to various tastes of music mania in Korea with its hybrid pop and electronic sounds, although the presentation and choreography of Beyonce’s music videos are far more impressive than those of Spears.
According to Sony, Spears will embark on a U.K. tour in March. Beyonce, meanwhile, will be putting out her next singles, “Halo” and “Diva,” and her latest film, “Obsessed,” will premier soon.
Whoever you are loyal to, there’s no denying Britney and Beyonce are irreplaceable stars who will very likely keep doing it again.

She was raised in Kentwood, Louisiana as a Southern Baptist. Spears was an accomplished gymnast, attending gymnastics classes until age nine and competing in state-level competitions. She performed in local dance revues and her local Baptist church choir. At age eight she auditioned for the Disney Channel series The New Mickey Mouse Club. Although she was considered too young to join the series at the time, a producer on the show introduced her to a New York City agent. Spears subsequently spent three summers at NYCs Professional Performing Arts School and also appeared in a number of off-Broadway productions, including 1991s Ruthless!.

Even telling the media, ve never really understood artists that sold their wedding pictures or they sell pictures of their kids. You gotta keep something for yourself, and my private life is my private life. Everything else the fans are completely welcome to, and Ive let em in just about every corner of my life except that. I respect that. But what makes it difficult is that country stars, in general, are very accessible. Some even blog about their personal lives. So its hard to remember whose lives are open books and whose are shut tight. But Rich said, If you took everything that Ive accumulated away from me, youd still find me in a country bar somewhere, singing for tips with a guitar until 2 oclock in the morning. So maybe any and all blogs about John Rich should be about just that: the passion for the music.

Britney has made tremendous strides this year in what isn’t really a comeback because she didn’t go anywhere! Britney’s music was only part of her impressive year. Here is a recap of the rest of Brit’s exciting 2008!
Britney really caught people’s attention this year when she made a guest appearance on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother on March 24. Her appearance gave the show its highest ever ratings, and it was no surprise she was invited to guest on a second episode that aired May 12. She was later nominated for a People’s Choice Award for the role.
One of the biggest events of the year was September 7, when Britney turned heads in her Atelier Versace dress at the MTV Video Music Awards. Aside from winning three categories, Britney also opened the awards for the third time in her career and did a skit with Jonah Hill.
The John Philip Sousa Middle School in the Bronx named their music studio in honor of Britney at the beginning of October. Brit attended the ceremony and donated $10,000 to the music program.
November 30 was the night Britney: For the Record aired in the U.S. and other countries across the world. The documentary focused on 60 days of Britney’s life, starting with the VMAs. The same night Britney was in London for her X Factor performance. She stopped at local hotspot G.A.Y. to celebrate her birthday 3 days early. The club was PACKED!
December 2 was a big day for our girl. Aside from her big visit to Good Morning America, Britney had a birthday party at New York City club Tenjune. Her family, dancers, choreographer, assistant, agent and even old friend Lance Bass were in attendance.
The December 11 issue of Rolling Stone featured Britney on the cover with the headline “Yes she can!
ITNEY RETURNS.” The beautiful photos showed that the sparkle was definitely back in Britney’s eye and people were noticing it more and more — so much that Entertainment Tonight named Britney the top of their Hot List for 2008.
Based on the way things have gone for Britney this year, it looks like the stars are the limit for 2009. It just keeps getting better and better and I’m sure the coming year will be the best yet!

We were ready to cast "Just Dance" off as a crappy pop song the first ten times we heard it. Then, in a moment of clarity, we really listened to the words coming out of your mouth and realized this wasn't just pop music but poetry. The way you've described going out and getting so effed up you forget things as they happen is nothing short of art. And we suppose, in a way, your style mimics that. When we're drunk at 3 a.m. and feeling emboldened, we often believe we can be and do anything. So we understand your propensity toward Lady Gagasaurus, with those gold, rock-like accoutrements sprouting from your breast, or the glove with spikes on it we feel should be taken away from you before you hurt yourself. We understand your even stronger propensity to fearlessly strut around in leotards with your control-top panty hose showing. So persistent have you been with this style that, amazingly, you've made the notion of wearing leotards over panty hose seem dated.
We don't doubt that the success of your brilliant single more than compensates for your astronomical wax bills. But the thing is, pants are your friend. Walking around outside in nothing more than bedazzled panties and sheer hose is great. But, like when you're so drunk that you're dancing on tables with strange men (or women) with your shirt inside-out and saying things like "half psychotic sick hypnotic," when you see the pictures the next day, it's not so great anymore. Since old habits die hard, we won't even ask you to wear them onstage (though from time to time it would be nice). Perhaps you could start slow and just wear them when you're walking around outside. Because we don't want your greatest cultural effect on this country or the U.K. to be that 13-year-olds think pants #8212 or any kind of bottoms, for that matter #8212 are optional.
