For earnings, Angelina earned $27 million in the past 12 months. As far as fame goes, Forbes has always explained that they use things like web references/searches, magazine covers, and broadcast mentions. As we all know, Angelinas name is mentioned constantly around the Internet, not to mention the volume of magazine covers that have her face on them.
Between the two, Angie was able to bump Oprah out of first place even though the media mogul earned a whopping $275 million over the past year between her television show, magazine, and other projects.
With Angelina Jolie in first place at Forbes, that left Oprah in second place, followed by Madonna in third and Beyonce Knowles in fourth.
Meanwhile Brad Pitt came in ninth place even though his earnings were slightly higher at $28 million this past year. Its odd that theres such a gap between them since theyre both usually mentioned together in headlines, but perhaps Angie has had more magazine covers alone - plus she gets mentioned for style fashion more often I think.

The biggest hype right now, as reported by People, is that theres a good possibility that Angelina Jolie will play Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a character who is a medical examiner in the bestselling Scarpetta novels written by popular author Patricia Cornwell. There are currently 16 novels in the series, but the movie will be a standalone story rather than an adapted screenplay from any particular novel.
Angelinas potential character is described as the beautiful, tough-as-nails forensic examiner with a messy love life and a penchant for opera and Italian cooking.
It sounds exactly like the kind of character that Angelina could easily pull off considering her action movie history. Also, if the film does well, it could lead to a series of movies. I know that the knee-jerk reaction of non-fans is to point out that Angelina planned to take some time off after she wraps Salt, but they obviously dont know much about how movies are made. Right now its just in discussion, its only a concept. If they arent adapting one of the actual books then they have to come up with a whole new story, write the script, finish the rest of the casting and assemble the production team, scout the locations, and THEN get started on filming. It could very easily be a year or more before the film is ready to get started. After all, look at how long ago we heard about Brad Pitt signing on for The Lost City of Z and thats nowhere near ready to start yet.

There is something not quite right about this mother of octuplets, and I think she's about to go all single, white female on Angelina.
Look at her face, doesn't it seem as if she's had some cosmetic surgery to look like Angie?
And then there's her choice to do her first sit-down TV interview with Anne Currywho always interviews Angelina.
And then there's the most obvious similarity; like Angelina, she wants to have lots and lots of children.
But the big difference between Nadya and Angelina is that Angelina can afford to have 14 children and Nadya, who lives at home with her mom, can't.
There are so many things about this that make me hate this woman. Why did a doctor keep giving this woman IVF (her first six kids were conceived that way too)? Why did they implant 8 embryos into her? Why isn't she in a mental institution? She used to work in one (hello, Girl, Interrupted), and it's clear from her interview with Anne Curry, that she needs psychiatric help.
Her reason for having 14 kids? That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up," she told Anne. Huh? Somebody should have just bought her a puppy.
It gets better. This idiot doesn't have a job, but intends to go back to school in the fall to complete a degree in counseling. And then who is going to look after her 14 children? Argh! And by choosing to have 8 kids at once, she has very likely doomed them to a life of physical and mental deficiencies that are going to cost lots and lots of money. Oh, and guess what, when you have multiples, you get money from the government. Double argh!
And then here's the bit that annoys me the most. She has a publicist and is sifting through book and TV deals. NBC says that the network didn't pay Nadya for the interview, but they didn't say that they hadn't put the money into a trust fund for the kids, or paid her mom, or her publicist. I pity those poor babies and the children aged 2 to 7 that she already has and hope the Family Services takes all of them away from her.

A British couple pleaded guilty Friday to supplying drugs to a slew of celebrities, most notably Winehouse, and then selling a video of the Grammy-winning singer smoking crack to a U.K. tabloid.
Johnny Blagrove, 34, and Cara Burton, 22, confessed to supplying cocaine and Ecstasy to the 25-year-old Grammy winner and then secretly filming her getting high and selling the footage to The Sun. The newspaper published images of the stars binge in January.
The video sparked a police raid on the pairs east London home. There, investigators turned up a purported hit list of stars, including the troubled RB belter, for whom they regularly furnished the illicit substances.
Authorities declined to press charges against Winehouse.
Blagrove pleaded guilty to two counts of offering to supply Class A drugs, specifically cocaine and MDMA, and one count of offering to supply Class B, while Burton copped to two counts of offering to supply Class B drugs. Prosecutors dropped an additional charge each of conspiracy.
